What should I do, if I receive a suspicious email?
You should never click on a link in such an email. The links in these emails may lead to websites which are designed to obtain your personal data illegally or to commit another related crime.
Please forward such emails to info@pennycentauction.com. PCA will check those emails and inform you if it was sent by PennyCent Auction or not.
What’s the danger of fake emails (Phishing)?
Such emails, also called “Phishing” or “Spoofing” emails are sent in order to illegally obtain confidential information such as passwords or credit card details. Please be highly suspicious if you’re asked in an email for such confidential data.
